The Greek word for joy is 'chara', very close to Gk for grace, which is 'charis.' I think there's a reason those words are so similar. Agreeing with you for more grace as you learn to think out loud and for the presence of the Holy Spirit to bubble into quiet joy.
This was lovely and I thought you put into words the constant internal monologue, fears, and lack of confidence that I feel extremely well. I can absolutely sympathize with everything you said! I have learned to mistrust my internal monologue and I haven't really thought that I might also be missing what the Spirit might be telling me! There was so much good stuff in here that I'm going to try to write down.
It was interesting to compare confidence and wisdom to each other. I think of rightly placed confidence as the thing you get once you decide to act from wisdom. And false confidence, I think, comes when you act without wisdom/ from foolishness...
