Every. Single. Word. I know this life. I've lived this life. I hope to still live it.

What a beautiful letter, Tresta. I can’t wait to respond. This weekend my husband and I are painting sets for my theater class production with various kids of mine dropping into help. But when I see a window of time to write…❤️

So funny that you mentioned the Edith Schaeffer book because that book encouraged me as well when I was in the mundane, repetitive days…to find ways to fit creativity into the daily tasks. Like reading a story to my kids as dramatically as I could. I can’t speak to the content at all at this point because it’s been too long. But I almost mentioned it last time as an early on encouragement. Another way we were connected by invisible strings all this time…

This really resonated with me. When my kids were little I didn’t have much time to write or do crafts. Now I still feel guilty for writing unless everything is done: laundry, dishes, the house is clean and book work is done. I need to start giving myself permission to write and do other art.

Thanks for sharing your heart :)

I wish I would have had bits of wisdom to read when I was a young mom. Love your insights 🥰
